Personal Teaching Philosophy

Jennifer believes that every student has the potential to bring something unique to the world. She considers the children to be the most important part of her work, and she takes her duty as an educator and director very seriously. She strives every day to make sure the learning process is a positive experience, full of happiness and laughter, and taught by loving, caring teachers who want their students to succeed every day. Educators have the enormous privilege of being able to affect children’s lives in a positive way, and Jennifer feels blessed to have that opportunity.

Q & A with Jennifer

What are your goals as the leader of the school?

I want to give my students the opportunity to shine and to be the best they can be every day. It’s important to let children be children and for us to take time to see the world through their eyes. I also encourage my teachers to be happy and have fun at work. We are not only a team, but a family, and we want our students and their parents to feel like a part of this family. We’re all working together to ensure the best possible educational start for the children.

Why do you believe learning a second language is so important?

Knowing a second language opens your mind in many ways beyond simple communication. It makes you think outside the box. It also opens the door to many educational and career opportunities. We live in an increasingly multilingual world, and mastery of a second language is an important gift that parents can give their children.

What makes the Coppell campus unique?

We have large, sunlit classrooms where children learn with music and fun activities and a huge playground where the children can enjoy being children. Coppell is a small, cozy, family-oriented town with two dual-language immersion elementary schools that students can transition to and which are always happy to receive our children because they are prepared and ready.
